How Will You Change Education?

A New Approach to Education

The Master of Arts in Educational Transformation equips professionals to impact policy, advocacy, learning, and teaching both from within the classroom and from policy organizations and nonprofits. Join us to promote the kinds of transformations that will bring greater opportunity – and justice – to children in schools. Whether your interest in education is as a teacher, advocate, curriculum designer, or policy-maker, our task is to ensure you have the knowledge and understanding to make a difference in the lives of students.

MAET is committed to experiential learning through a residency-based model. From the beginning of the program, you will work in a field-based setting, tackling real problems and real tasks.

Which Concentration Is Right for You?

We position program graduates as advocates, educators, and policy actors to foster equity and justice in education from within and outside of classrooms.

How do you want to lead education toward equity and justice?

I want to become a transformative educator, teaching and advocating for students and leading school- and classroom-based change.

I want to become a transformative policy actor, advocating for change through government, non-profits, and community organizations.
