Career Resources

The M.A. in Educational Transformation seeks to ensure that all our graduates have the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to translate their Georgetown degree into a career with a rich diversity of options and rewards. For students in our program, the residency experience is perhaps the most valuable element of the program, allowing you to master critical skills and build a network that will provide entry points into the Washington, DC educational landscape.

M.A. in Educational Transformation – Experiential Learning

Experiential Learning is a cornerstone of the M.A. in Educational Transformation, combining the study of educational research and theory with hands-on, experiential learning in schools, nonprofits, school districts, and public agencies. Through their experiential learning placements, students are immersed in the complex educational contexts of DC, a center of education policymaking and innovation, which offers a vivid perspective on the rewards and challenges of a career in the field.
